Timpanogos with Melinda and Brennon

Melinda and Brennon were married in the Timpanogos Temple in December. It was a bit of a chilly day but Melinda was well prepared with a beautiful wedding cloak and a tall groom to keep her warm.

Melinda and Brennon are my favorite type of couple. They were so much in love and just happy to be together that all I had to do was ask them to get close and Brennon took care of the rest.

Grooms that pay the most attention to their bride and could care less about anything else going on around them are the most fun to photograph. Some grooms are pretty stiff and eager to just get on with it that they forget to take in the beauty of their bride and cherish the moment. That probably sounds pretty cheesey to most of you guys but sometimes it really is just a mental decision to enjoy the magic of this special day and all the hard work your bride has done to put it together.

After the Temple photos Melinda and Brennon had a beautiful reception in Alpine at the Alpine Art Center. Throughout the night you could tell this couple were still in their own little world of joy together. It didn’t matter what went wrong or who was late, they were just having a great time together, and I think you can see that in their eyes.
