The Perfect Dress fashion shoot at McCune Mansion
by Andy on Feb.23, 2010, under Bridals, Photography
We were asked by The Perfect Dress to shoot some of their beautiful models in their gorgeous dresses. All of these images were taken at McCune Mansion. This was a super fun shoot. McCune mansion is an awesome location. It has ornate woodwork everywhere inside and out, and a fabulous ballroom on the upper level. It’s a perfect venue for any fancy event, especially weddings. The Perfect Dress is great to work with. I was very impressed by their staff. Those girls were able to create the perfect look for each of the models using different dress styles, colors, and accessories.
Here are just a few images from the shoot…

Ashlie & Jerry – Bridals at La Caille
by Andy on Feb.10, 2010, under Bridals, Photography
I had the privilege of shooting Ashlie’s bridals at La Caille a few weeks ago. As you can see from the images, Ashlie is a stunning bride. It was so cold we had to keep running inside the La Caille restaurant to warm up every 15 minutes or so, but it was worth it. Here are a few images…

The first image on the left is my favorite of the bunch. The expression on her face is just perfect. I did a bit of coloring on this one, the original color of the doors is actually more of a pastel green.

La Caille has peacocks all over the place. This one here decided it wanted to be a part of Ashlie’s bridals.

Engagements Little Cottonwood Canyon | Samantha + Joe
by Andy on Jan.19, 2010, under Photography
Samantha and Joe just recently booked their wedding with us, and took advantage of our free engagements….Yep, totally free. Just call in and make an appointment, and we’ll shoot your engagements for free. I took these in Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was super cold, but Samantha and Joe somehow managed to avoid turning purple. I think it must have been all of the cuddling they were doing. My favorite image is the last one.

Bridals at the Utah State Capitol | Jenna + Connor
by Andy on Jan.19, 2010, under Bridals, Photography
These bridals and groomals were taken recently at the Utah State Capitol. The Capitol building is a great place to shoot bridals, especially in the winter time. We did go outside for a few poses. Jenna and Connor were good sports about braving the cold. They are a fun couple, and we came out with some beautiful images. Here are just a few of the hundreds that I took.

Meyers Family – Studio Shoot
by Andy on Jan.12, 2010, under Family, Photography
The Meyers family stopped by our studio (9339 S 1300 E in Sandy), and had their family photos done. This group was a lot of fun. I love it when families come by the studio for photos. Here are a few shots we took. My favorite is the long landscape shot. That would look great as a canvas gallery wrap.

Emily & Rick – Salt Lake Temple
by Andy on Dec.08, 2009, under Photography, Reception, Wedding
Emily and Rick were married at the end of November. They lucked out with some great weather, considering it was the end of November. Rick told me that his side of the family was known for fake smiles, but I think they all did great. Here are a few shots from their wedding day.

Their reception was held at the Aspen Landing reception center. Emily and Rick must be quite the popular people, because they had that place packed the entire night.

Sealing at the Draper Temple
by Andy on Nov.14, 2009, under Photography, Wedding
Shad and Siri were married two years ago at The Old Meeting House. About three weeks ago, I had the privilege of working with them again for their sealing that took place in the LDS Draper Temple. Little did I know, but Shad is quite the romantic. Just before their sealing, he took Siri to the Draper Temple and asked her to marry him again. He even included a new band for her wedding ring. Here are a few of my favorite pics…

Engagements at the Rice-Eccles Stadium
by Andy on Nov.12, 2009, under Engagements, Photography
Last week I had a great time taking Hillary and Breck’s engagement pictures at the U of U football stadium. Breck rented the stadium for a few hours and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was a lot of fun. Hillary and Breck are big Ute football fans. Breck had a huge smile on his face the whole time and would randomly just start running around on the field. It was awesome. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Can you believe this was taken in November?

I asked them to give me their disappointed fan pose, and this is what they gave me. I love their poses. I laugh every time I see this shot, because I bet it’s exactly how they might react while watching a football game.
Camilla & Bridger’s Wedding
by Andy on Nov.10, 2009, under Photography, Reception, Wedding
Camilla & Bridger were married at the Salt Lake Temple and their reception was that evening at the Magnolia Grove Reception Center. It was a little cold outside the temple grounds, but Bridger did a good job of keeping Camilla warm. Their reception was a lot of fun. One thing I admire the most about the Latin American culture is that they sure do love to dance.
